Elsa Jeandedieu

French artist Elsa Jeandedieu explores the dialogue between architectural permanence and emotional fluidity. Based in Hong Kong, Jeandedieu has developed a tactile language centred on sensory experience through immersive murals and meticulously crafted textures. Her work harmonises high-end luxury with organic warmth, drawing inspiration from urban vitality and the structural elegance of haute couture.

Jeandedieu’s practice invites viewers to slow down and reconnect with their physical senses. Her work translates the "invisible hum of the universe" into tactile forms, utilising patterns and palettes designed to harmonise with the human nervous system. This focus on cymatics and introspection creates a grounded rhythm that encourages internal peace.

Raised in southern France, Elsa’s foundation lies in the decorative arts, where she mastered plaster, pigment, and gold leaf. Her technical rigour, honed at Paris's Atelier Lucien Tourtoulou, allows her to approach surfaces with a unique balance of precision and delicacy.

With a twenty-year career spanning Paris to Shanghai, Elsa has created site-specific commissions for icons like CHANEL, Louis Vuitton, and the Four Seasons. A premier collaborator for designers such as André Fu and Joyce Wang, her work is frequently featured in VOGUE HK, The New York Times, and Wallpaper*, cementing her status as a leading voice in Asia’s contemporary tactile arts.

Angel Chiu Oi Ying

Young talent Angel Chiu Oi Ying joined Elsa Jeandedieu Studio as a muralist in 2021. Since then she has worked on projects for clients including Oolaa Group, Pici, and award-winning designer Andre Fu.

Angel honed her skills during a 4-year degree at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in Scenic Art with first class honours in 2020. She joined the studio with an impressive portfolio of theatre stage scenery productions, showcasing her expertise in multiple media to create large-scale backdrops. This expertise has allowed her to execute beautiful commission artworks for some of our studio’s top clients.
